Shipping & Returns

Return Policy

You may return most new, uninstalled items sold and shipped by JAW’s Gear & Axle, Inc. within 30 days of receiving shipment delivery. Prior to returning any items, please fill out and submit our RGA form to be issued a Call Tag or Returned Goods Authorization (RGA). Items returned without a prior Call Tag or Returned Goods Authorization may be refused by JAW’s. Some custom order items sold by JAW’s are not eligible for return.

To obtain return authorization for items purchased from Jaw’s Gear & Axle, Inc., please fill out and submit our RGA form or print and fax it to our Customer Service fax line at 916-922-5297. If you cannot remember who assisted you, call Customer Support for assistance at 866-676-5297 extension 4.

Many new, uninstalled items returned to us will be subject to a Restocking Fee, depending upon the reason for the return. Restocking fees are imposed for returns which are not caused by JAW’s or shipper (e.g., you changed your mind or you ordered the wrong part). Restocking fees are not imposed for returns caused by JAW’s or our shipper (e.g., we shipped you a different part than what you ordered or your order was damaged during shipping). Restocking fees can be 20% or more, depending on the elapsed time between shipment and return. Items returned after 30 days from purchase date will not be accepted.

Return of products for warranty must be pre-approved by our Customer Service department. Approval for return is evident by issuance of a Call Tag or Returned Goods Authorization.

For all returns (excluding warranties), items shall be returned in their original packaging.

You may not cancel any order after the order has shipped. In addition, special orders for items not normally stocked by JAW’s cannot be canceled once submitted. To cancel an order for a stocked item that has not yet shipped, please contact our Customer Service department at 1-866-676-5297 extension 4 to determine if order cancellation can be processed. Cancelled orders may be subject to a processing fee of $20.00.

Any applicable refunds for cancelled or returned items will be processed as quickly as possible. However, actual refund timing and amounts will vary depending upon the specific situation. For returned items, the refund will depend upon the condition of the returned product when it is received by Jaw’s; in some cases, a restocking fee and/or processing fee will be applied against any refund as well. Refunds for Warranty returns will be dependent upon the approval by the product manufacturer of all warranty claims, as well as the payment arrangement to JAW’s Gear & Axle, Inc. for such approved claims.

Shipping Policies

  • Guaranteed Same Day Shipping requires an order to be submitted prior to cut off time of 3:45pm PST, including ground or expedited order requests.
  • Orders placed on weekends or National Holidays will be shipped the following business day.
  • In an effort to save you money on shipping, parts ordered will be shipped from the closest warehouse location and can be split between warehouses which will result in multiple packages.
  • JAW’s uses published rates on all shipping.
  • Orders eligible for free shipping are still subject to handling fees.
  • We are required to charge tax on ALL orders in CA, unless you are a wholesaler and have a valid resale and business license to operate in the state of CA (must be provided and approved prior to order being placed).
